Food for thought while helping our neighbors:
The Washington County Sheriff’s Department will be assisting our Washington County residents experiencing food insecurity by supporting our local food shelves.
From the first week of November through December 31, 2025, we are pledging 10% of our weekly fingerprint receipts to assist our local food shelves. We shall also have a donation jar at the front entrance of the office to be included in this endeavor.
Once a week we will send a check for the amount to a different food shelf within our County.
Please feel free to assist us with this much needed help to our friends and neighbors in our communities, and spread the word!
